Zendaya’s Dune: Part Two-Inspired Madame Tussauds Figure Unveiled

Zendaya has now been honored with not just one, but a total of 10 Madame Tussauds wax figures. This achievement highlights her growing influence and recognition in the entertainment industry. Tiago Mogadouro, General Manager of Madame Tussauds New York, expressed his admiration for Zendaya during the unveiling of the latest figure. He stated, "Zendaya has earned her place among today’s most recognizable and respected stars." The new figure is a tribute to her lasting impact on both entertainment and fashion.

As fans are aware, the latest wax figure was introduced by Madame Tussauds New York on Wednesday, January 7. It draws inspiration from Zendaya’s red carpet appearance at the Dune: Part Two fan event in Mexico City in 2024. Her iconic look at the event has become a symbol of her style and presence in the public eye.

Zendaya first received the Madame Tussauds treatment in 2015, when figures were unveiled in Orlando and San Francisco. According to the Madame Tussauds team, the latest figure was created through a meticulous, year-long process involving 20 different artists. This level of detail ensures that the wax figure captures every nuance of Zendaya’s likeness and style.

Early reactions to the new figure have been largely positive, marking a more unified response than the one sparked by a previous Zendaya likeness in 2022. That figure, which coincided with the release of Euphoria’s second season, received mixed reviews. However, the current figure seems to have resonated more strongly with fans and critics alike.
