An arrest has been made in connection with the tragic death of 30-year-old Porshe Nikita Shanee Streeter, which occurred in January 2024. The incident took place at an apartment located on Woodhill Park Drive in Orange County, as reported by the sheriff’s office.
Saun Landis Rainge Jr., a 32-year-old man, was taken into custody and is now facing charges of first-degree murder. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), Rainge and Streeter had known each other since their high school days and were parents to three children, aged 10, 2, and 1.

Their relationship was described as “toxic” in an arrest affidavit, with reports of domestic abuse and infidelity. OCSO stated that Streeter was living at the apartment with their three children, while Rainge would occasionally stay over. On January 13, 2024, Rainge called 911 to report that he had come to the apartment to check on his family when someone walked in and shot him and “his lady,” according to the affidavit.

When first responders arrived, they removed all three children from the home. Rainge was found sitting on the floor with a gunshot wound to his arm. The door to the master bedroom was damaged, suggesting it had been kicked in. Inside the master bedroom, police discovered Streeter on the floor, unresponsive and with multiple gunshot wounds. She had been shot 10 times, according to deputies.
Rainge told investigators that he believed Streeter was okay because he had just spoken to her. However, OCSO noted that this seemed unlikely given the presence of dried blood on her body.
During the investigation, Streeter’s friend contacted police and shared photos indicating that Rainge had beaten her a few days before her death. Another individual confirmed the incident, as shown in court documents.
Rainge repeatedly claimed that an intruder was responsible for shooting Streeter. However, after a lengthy investigation and the acquisition of hours of surveillance footage, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office concluded that Rainge committed premeditated murder. He killed Streeter while she was in bed with her children.
A second suspect, Benjamin Garmon Jr., was seen on camera with Rainge and is accused of conspiring to murder Streeter. Garmon is alleged to have helped carry out the murder in a way that made it appear like a home invasion. OCSO reported that Garmon was seen running from the apartment after the gunshots were fired. Detectives believe that Rainge had Garmon shoot him to make the home invasion look real.
A cousin of Streeter described her as a good mother who worked from home as a hairdresser. OCSO said investigators believe Rainge wanted Streeter dead because she refused to give him custody of the children and was hiding money from him.
