Pamela Anderson has opened up about her complicated relationship with her ex-husband, Tommy Lee. In a recent interview, the 58-year-old actress shared that she wishes she had a “better relationship” with Lee, despite not having spoken to him in a long time.

Anderson and Lee married in 1995 and welcomed their sons Brandon and Dylan Jagger in 1996 and 1997, respectively, before their divorce in 1998. The couple has remained connected through their children, and Anderson has made efforts to stay in touch with Lee over the years.

“I always ask about him. I tried to send him pickles. I try to stay in contact,” she said during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. When asked if Lee rejected her pickles, Anderson responded, “My kids just said, ‘Mom, just…,’ I don’t know what it is. I have to stay out of it, and I shouldn’t really be saying anything, but I do wish them the best.”

Cohen then asked if she specifically wished Lee the best, to which she replied, “Yes.” He followed up by asking if she believed she might have better communication with Lee if he wasn’t with his wife, and Anderson agreed, “I do.”

The actress explained that she thinks Lee is a “real romantic” and “very dedicated to his wife.” However, she expressed that she doesn’t like the current situation, adding, “I just think he’s a real romantic. He’s very dedicated to his wife, and I think that he just doesn’t want to cause any waves or maybe, I don’t know, but I don’t like it.”

Despite the distance, Anderson admitted she misses Lee and believes they will always be connected due to their children and future family events. She mentioned that she expects to see Lee and his wife, Brittany Furlan Lee, at an upcoming wedding for their son Dylan, which is scheduled for June 26.

Anderson’s comments come three years after she revealed during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in 2023 that she and Lee “text here and there” as parents. She also mentioned that they would “check in with each other every once in a while.”

The Last Showgirl actress and Lee famously married following a whirlwind romance in 1995. They welcomed their older son Brandon in 1996 and Dylan Jagger Lee the following year. The pair divorced in 1998, but their connection has remained strong through their children.

Anderson has had several marriages and relationships since her divorce from Lee. She wed Kid Rock from 2006 to 2007 and then professional poker player Rick Salomon in October 2007. The two were granted an annulment by March 2008, but they remarried and divorced again in 2014. In 2020, Anderson was widely reported to be married to Jon Peters for just 12 days, but she later clarified that the two never actually married. In January 2021, she shared that she had married her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst, but a representative for the actress confirmed in January 2022 that the pair had split.

As for Lee, he has been married to comedian Brittany Furlan since February 2019. The couple met on the celebrity dating app Raya two years prior to their marriage.
