Outline:
Nearly a century following the release of the original book, Agatha Christie’sSeven Dials adaptation has landed on Netflix, with Helena Bonham Carter, Mia McKenna Bruce, and Martin Freeman starring in the playful whodunit.
In the latest version of Christie’s 1929 bookThe Seven Dials Mystery, Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent (Mia McKenna-Bruce) becomes involved in an expanding conspiracy, with no one remaining untouched. It began as a harmless prank, but now individuals are being found dead,” the storyline states.
It’s simultaneously gloomy and phony, and we’re already forecasting it will emerge as a must-see series on streaming services in 2026.
However, similar to any compelling whodunit, not all is as it appears. Although the series bears the name of a London area (with the Seven Dials Club appearing as a location on screen), it wasn’t entirely shot in the city.
In reality, locations ranging from courtrooms to railway stations, and from grand estates to book-filled halls across some of the UK’s most picturesque areas were utilized to create the scenes.
Here are all the places you might not have realized were featured in the show that you can actually visit…
Badminton House, Gloucestershire

Much of Seven Dials‘plot is set at Bundle’s home ‘Chimneys’, which is actually Badminton House, located in Gloucestershire. It is owned by the Dukes of Beaufort and has appeared in several television programs and films, including Netflix’sThe Gentlemen (as Halstead Manor), Bridgerton, 28 Days Later, and Pearl Harbor.
In addition to the annual Badminton Horse Trials, it is frequently open for garden tours – or even can be rented out for weddings.
Bristol

Cardiff Crown Court

A city rich with history, Cardiff also joined the effort to recreate some of old London’s settings. The Grade I listed Crown Court was converted into Market Basing train station, while the Science Library temporarily served as the Foreign Office.
Ronda, Spain

A bit farther away, Seven Dials is set at the Bullring of the Royal Cavalry in Ronda, Spain, and the production frequently revisits this charming spot through flashback sequences. The most famous site is the Puente Nuevo bridge, situated above the El Tajo gorge. If visitor numbers suddenly increase, you’ll understand why.
Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials is currently available to watch on Netflix.
