As a result, these films do not have official box office totals.

The 2025 Anaconda movie was produced on a reported budget of $45 million. Despite facing competition from major releases such as Avatar: Fire and Ash, The Housemaid, Marty Supreme, and Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the film managed to perform well at the box office.

Critically, the film received mixed reviews, with a 51% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Gregory Nussen of The Hollywood Reporter described it as "Funny and surprisingly sweet yet ultimately as boneless as a snake." However, audiences gave the film a more favorable response, with a 76% Popcornmeter score. Fans praised the film’s ridiculous comedy and the performances of Jack Black, Paul Rudd, and Steve Zahn.

The success of the film also highlights the continued box office appeal of Jack Black. His previous films, such as A Minecraft Movie (2025) and The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), were among the highest-grossing films of their respective years. While Anaconda may not reach the staggering heights of The Super Mario Bros. Movie’s $1.3 billion or A Minecraft Movie’s $958.2 million, it is still a notable success for Black.
