A Night of Glamour at the AFI Awards
The American Film Institute (AFI) Awards, held in Los Angeles, brought together a dazzling array of stars for an evening of celebration and recognition. The event, which honors outstanding achievements in film and television, took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Attendees arrived in style, with many making a striking impression on the red carpet.
Ariana Grande, 32, stole the spotlight in a romantic blush pink strapless lace gown that accentuated her arms. She completed her look with pearl earrings and an elegant updo. Grande, who plays Glinda in Wicked: For Good, was among the honorees for outstanding motion pictures. During a recent interview, she praised her co-star Cynthia Erivo’s performance, calling it “the most truthful, vulnerable and fierce Elphaba we’ve seen.” She also expressed admiration for director Jon M. Chu, who was snubbed by the DGA.
Gwyneth Paltrow, 53, made a minimalist statement in a black and white dress with a tank-style top. She was spotted mingling with Leonardo DiCaprio, 51, adding to the star-studded atmosphere.
Emma Stone, 37, dazzled in an ivory strapless dress from Calvin Klein Collection. Her look was effortlessly chic, embodying the elegance expected at such an event.
Other notable attendees included Teyana Taylor, 35, who showcased her unique style in a fitted black suit with a high-neck white collar. Keri Russell, 49, exuded elegance in a black blazer and skirt. Chase Infiniti, 25, turned heads in a baroque-inspired gold mini dress with floral accents.
Mia Goth, 32, opted for an all-black ensemble, while Odessa A’zion, 25, looked cool in a violet cardigan and oversized leather pants. Laura Dern, 58, made a bold statement in a sequin burgundy dress paired with a brown trench coat. She was joined by George Clooney on the red carpet.
Jessie Buckley, 36, stunned in a sleeveless black leather dress with a sultry leg slit. Emilia Jones, 23, went for a patterned look in a polka dot halter top and grey pencil skirt. Patricia Arquette, 57, showcased her quirky style in an orange blazer and sequin gold skirt.

Jeff Goldblum, 73, and Stellan Skarsgard, 74, both made appearances, with the latter choosing a more laid-back look. Mark Ruffalo, 58, was clad in a grey suit, while Adam Scott and Mark Ronson were also in attendance.
Timothee Chalamet, 26, was spotted inside the event but skipped the red carpet. He accessorized with a Cartier 18ct white-gold and diamond panther necklace valued at around $34,000.
AFI 2025 Award Honorees
The AFI Awards recognized the best in film and television for 2025. The top 10 movies included Avatar: Fire and Ash, Bugonia, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Jay Kelly, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another, Sinners, Train Dreams, and Wicked: For Good.
For television programs, the honors went to Adolescence, Andor, Death by Lightning, The Diplomat, The Lowdown, The Pitt, Plur1bus, Severance, The Studio, and Task.
This year’s Special Award was given to Iranian director Jafar Panahi’s film It Was Just an Accident.
