Ben Affleck politely stated that he has never met “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Lisa Barlow, even though she had previously said that a work-related commitment with him was preventing her from filming parts of the Bravo series this season.
The actor from “Gone Girl” found himself in a difficult situation during his Access Hollywood interview, which was shared on Friday.

Affleck instantly reacted with bewilderment, yet mentioned that he doesn’t “want to put anyone in a difficult position.”

“I’m not sure what this is – an event in Salt Lake City? Like, prove someone right or wrong?” he questioned.
In the episode being discussed, Barlow, 51, did not specify the location of the event where she was supposed to meet Affleck. Nevertheless, the interviewer informed the actor that it was probably taking place in Utah.
I haven’t been to Utah in maybe 8, 9, or 10 years, I’m not sure,” said Affleck, 53. “It doesn’t look familiar to me and I can’t recall anything.
The actor known for “Air” avoided answering directly, stating that he probably didn’t meet the Bravolebrity, though it’s still possible he might have encountered her, with the meeting slipping his mind given how many people he usually meets at events.
“I don’t want to make her uncomfortable because I greet many people, and I don’t want to be the one who says, I’ve met you… You can’t remember everyone you meet,” Affleck explained.
I don’t believe I’m suitable to comment on this, whatever this intense debate is.
It wasn’t long before Barlow returned with receipts and evidence. She addressed the situation in the comments section beneath Access Hollywood’s post, stating that she supposedly met him at the SXSW film festival.
“The Accountant 2,” she wrote, referring toThe debut of Affleck’s film at the Austin, Texas, festivalin March 2025. “And it was an excellent film and celebration.”
She then continued with itwith a TikTokFrom her SXSW experience. Among the collection of clips was a video capturing her perspective of Affleck walking the red carpet at the event, as well as a short clip of Lively speaking on stage.“Another Simple Favor” premiere.
As fans of Bravo might remember, the owner of Vida Tequila mentioned in an episode from Season 6 that she was unable to join her castmate Angie Katsanevas on a girls’ trip due to a conflict with another co-star, Bronwyn Newport, and because she had a business commitment involving an actor and Lively.
I don’t want to spend the night with Bronwyn. She’s a compulsive liar. She can’t be truthful even if it meant saving her life. It’s really unpleasant,” Barlow said in the episode. “Also, I have a work obligation. It’s quite significant.
I believe people often overlook the fact that I lead a very fulfilling life because I maintain a certain level of privacy. And, you know, I won’t be naming names, but I do spend time with Ben and Blake [Lively].
Barlow said, “I’ll be with Ben Affleck and you’ll be with Bronwyn.”
