She has spent a significant amount of time with the actor, and it’s clear she appreciates their on-screen chemistry, but even she has no idea why Chase “says the things he says.”
D’Angelo is among the actors who have spent the most time working with Chevy Chase. They haveappeared in five films as a team: National Lampoon’s Vacation, National Lampoon’s European Vacation, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Vegas Vacation, and the last one simply titledVacation. In reality, director Marina Zenovich mentioned that without director Jay Chandrasekhar, she‘would have been screwed’ and would not have been able to locate any first-person information about the show.
For certain individuals in Hollywood, Chevy Chase occupies a strong and cherished spot in their hearts. Although D’Angelo acknowledges she never anticipated maintaining contact over the years.
