Renewal of annual STNK can be done online through the SIGNAL Samsat Digital application.
The application can serve for annual vehicle registration certificate (STNK) validation, payment of motor vehicle tax, and payment of mandatory road accident insurance contribution.
Thus, the community no longer needs to come to the Samsat office to renew the STNK, just download and create an account for the SIGNAL Samsat Digital app on their phone.
First, download the SIGNAL Samsat Digital app from the Play Store or App Store.
Open the app, then click “Sign up here” to start creating an account.
Fill in the data on the available form, such as NIK, name according to KTP, email address, phone number, and password.
Next, upload your ID photo, then verify your facial biometrics by taking a self-photo.
Enter the OTP code sent via SMS to complete the registration process.
Then, re-verify by clicking the link sent by SIGNAL to the registered email.
After successfully creating a Digital Samsat account, the next step is to register the vehicle.
Here are the steps:
– Open the SIGNAL Samsat Digital app on your smartphone
– Select the “Add Motor Vehicle Data” menu
– Select the vehicle owner type “Own Vehicle”
– Enter Vehicle Registration Number
– Enter the last 5 digits of the chassis number
– Check the data accuracy statement, click “Next”
– The vehicle was successfully registered
You can also register more than one vehicle, including vehicles owned by family members who are in the same household.
Next, open the SIGNAL application that has been downloaded from the Play Store or App Store.
Make sure you have created an account.
Select the vehicle for verification or tax payment, click “Continue”.
The total information on vehicle tax payment will appear afterward.
If you wish for the tax notice document to be sent by post, please move the “send TBPKP document” button to enter the delivery address completely (it does not have to match the address on the vehicle registration).
Total cost will appear on the mobile screen, then click “Continue”.
Proceed to payment by clicking the “Select Payment Method” button.
Then a payment code will appear, please select the payment method via mobile banking, ATM, digital wallet, or e-commerce.
Payment code, tax amount, and payment method will appear.
Make the payment according to the instructions, no later than 2 hours before the registration process.
Payment code will expire if more than 2 hours.
While the document delivery process can be tracked through the “Tracking Pos” service of Pos Indonesia using the official delivery receipt number listed in the Application.
