Mr Patel said the young man, thought to be in his 20s, displayed a lollipop to his son and queried, ‘Do you enjoy lollipops?’
“He mentioned, ‘My boy responded with, “Yes, I do.” Following this, the gentleman presented it to him, but he declined,'” he explained.
The gentleman remarked, “Let’s head out, I own a large lollipop store.”
When my boy replied with another ‘no,’ the man took hold of his hand and stated firmly, ‘No arguing,’ as he started dragging him towards the exit.
Mr Patel mentioned that his son clamped down on the man’s arm when he was being dragged toward the gate prior to sprinting to his mother’s vehicle located around 100 meters away.
We promptly reached out to the school and talked to (the Deputy Principal) right where it occurred, as our son recounted all the details.

“Our child has been left disturbed, and so have we. The idea that someone might target kids within our very neighborhood is terrifying,” he stated.
‘We were astonished to find out that area of the school lacks CCTV cameras.’
‘Our boy mentioned too that he has spotted this guy several times near the entrance zone. The individual was dressed in black tracksuit bottoms, a dark jacket, and black footwear.’
The Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Algester State School and the Queensland Police Service for their input.
Mr Patel mentioned that after the incident, his son received a smartwatch equipped with GPS and an emergency button.
“Our child has been left trembling, as well as us. The thought that someone might target kids within our very neighborhood is terrifying,” he stated.
He has likewise urged anybody who may have seen the incident to reach out to him, this includes residents living on Ridgewood Road close to the school who possess CCTV footage.
A representative from the Ministry of Education has released an official statement regarding the alleged occurrence.

‘Safety and well-being of both students and employees are our topmost concern,’ it stated.
The department has been informed about a report communicated to the employees at Algester State School concerning an unidentified adult who approached one of the students.
The school has communicated with the parents and the involved student regarding the issue and is continuing to provide support.
The department mentioned that assistance will be provided to every individual within the school community.
A message will soon be dispatched to all parents and caregivers urging them “to stay alert and emphasize safety measures as well as warnings about strangers.”
