Former Vortex Media Exec Christopher Giroux and Actress-Producer Ann Pirvu Launch Precious Metal Productions with ‘Bee My Love’

EXCLUSIVECanadian producer Christopher Giroux and actress-producer Ann Pirvu have revealed information about their newly established joint company, Precious Metal Productions, and shared details regarding its first television project.

The newly established company, which specializes in television films and full-length movies through its operations that include developing original content and providing comprehensive production services, has recently completed filming a romantic TV movie.Bee My Love.

Pirvu plays a private chef vying for her dream position against a famous restaurant owner, who draws inspiration from her mother’s cooking, the natural sweetness of honey, and a struggling beekeeper who helps her realize that life and love are most delightful when shared. Precious Metal Productions has unveiled the first image of the movie (see below).

Pirvu is joined by Robin Dunne, who is recognized for his recurring role in theAinsley McGregor Mysteriesseries as well as Emily Alatalo (Crossroad Springs), Romaine Waite (Jingle All The Way), Neil Whitely (When Hope Calls), and Brigitte Kingsley (The Art of Christmas).

Veteran in film and television production, Giroux has already accumulated 50 producer credits. He previously served as SVP of Production at Vortex Media, where he was responsible for the production of films such asAnything For Jackson, A ‘90sChristmas and The End of Sex.

Giroux has been nominated twice for Canadian Screen Awards for his contributions toChristmas Island and Take Me Back to Christmas, while he has recently directedUphill for Christmas, which is also currently in the editing phase, featuring Vanessa Lengies (Glee) and Marcus Rosner (Sullivan’s Crossing).

An actress from Romania, Pirvu, also contributes a well-established and varied portfolio of work, both on and off camera.

As an actress, she is most recognized for her performances as Nicole on the CW’sReignand Zoe in the acclaimed seriesPoly Is the NewMonogamy,for which she was nominated for a 2025 Canadian Screen Award, while her cinematic roles includeLearning to Love Again, Little Girl by the Window and The Inheritor and the Handyperson.
