Only Murders in the Building and Severance each garnered four nominations, rounding out the strongest television contenders at this year’s ceremony. Comedian Nikki Glaser returned as host for a second consecutive year, following praise for her debut stint last year.

Glaser has hinted that she has a specific celebrity in mind as the target of her jokes during the broadcast. She also confirmed she will deliver a short tribute to Rob Reiner, the acclaimed filmmaker and actor who passed away recently at the age of 78.

The Golden Globes have undergone significant changes in recent years, with the organization diversifying its voting membership following several scandals. These changes have resulted in what observers describe as a more respectable awards show.
