Mickey Rourke is said to be surviving “from paycheck to paycheck” as he deals with the threat of being evicted from his Los Angeles residence.
“Mickey has experienced the life of a rock star, with significant drug and alcohol abuse throughout the years,” an insider revealed to the Daily Mail Sunday.
“So, seeing him in worse condition in recent photos without the advantage of Hollywood’s cinematic effects, it’s no surprise he doesn’t look like he once did,” the source added.

An insider revealed to the media that the actor known for “Wrestler” was facing financial difficulties.
“Regarding his financial situation, the movies he has been involved in don’t provide much for the lifestyle he’s accustomed to; it’s nearly a paycheck-to-paycheck scenario, and if he were more cautious with his money, he would be fine,” the source stated.
“He’s rich, but poor in a way that makes sense. He has opportunities to earn large sums through movies and reality TV, but he spends it so quickly that he ends up back where he started just as he begins to make money,” the insider told Daily Mail.



Despite Rourke, 73, facing financial difficulties, a source stated the actor is “confident” he can secure an agreement that will help him maintain ownership of his house.
Page Six has contacted Rourke’s representative for a response but has not received an immediate reply.
Last month, court documents acquired by The Post revealed that the Academy Award-nominated actor is being evicted due to allegedly accumulating almost $60,000 in unpaid rent.


Documents indicated that Rourke received a three-day notice to either pay the rent or move out by December 18, 2025, following his failure to make regular payments on his Beverly Grove apartment, which cost $7,000 per month.
