Nikki Glaser was compensated generously for watching over the kids.Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann’s children.

The 41-year-old actress was paid ‘$35, $40 an hour’ by the couple for taking care of their daughters,Euphoria star Maude Apatowand actor Iris Apatow, who was part of the Sausage Party cast, in 2007, when Judd and Leslie were developing their comedy-drama film, Funny People – released in 2009.

During a visit to SiriusXM’s TheHoward Stern ShowOn Tuesday, Glaser said: “I was really delighted by that because it’s such a unique moment for me, starting out as his babysitter.”

She added, “They offered good money. It was around 2007, and they were paying about $35 to $40 per hour, which was more than I’d ever earned while babysitting. The kids were lovely and very amusing.”

The comedian shared one of her most memorable experiences from watching over Maude and Iris — who are now 28 and 23 years old — was when another comedian and actorAdam Sandler, 59, called while filmmaker Judd, 58, and actress Leslie, 53, were away.

The television presenter said: “I recall a night when Adam Sandler called, Judd and Leslie were away, and I answered the phone, and he said, ‘Hello?’ And I responded, ‘Hi.'”

He said, ‘Hello, Maude, this is Adam.’ And I responded, ‘Oh no, this is the babysitter.’ He then asked, ‘Oh, sorry, you’re the babysitter? I’m Adam Sandler. How’s your night going?’

He inquired about how my night was progressing. It was my initial encounter with Adam Sandler, and I’ve been a fan ever since. I remarked, ‘That’s the most pleasant call I’ve ever received from someone while I was babysitting.’

She also shared that she requested a tryout in Funny People with Judd while she was taking care of children, and mentioned that the role of Daisy Danby—a “25-year-old comedian facing challenges in Los Angeles who is a fan of Wilco”—eventually went to Aubrey Plaza, 41, and resembled her.

The humorous woman said, “I was truly embarrassed to do it. I never viewed that job as, ‘It’s a chance [to get more roles].’ But then it turns out this role is about you, and he wants genuine people.”

I considered, ‘This would be really silly if I didn’t go through with it.’ My friend mentioned, ‘You didn’t relocate to Los Angeles to be the best babysitter.’ So I replied, ‘Okay, I’ll do it.’ He then offered me an audition, which turned out to be quite pleasant.

Today, the actor—whose initial film appearance was as Olympia in the 2009 comedy-musical, Punching the Clown—and Judd are “working on a movie together.”

Nikki stated, “I was secretly eager to collaborate with him. I had filmed a scene in Trainwreck and observed how he behaved on set, and I thought, ‘This looks like a lot of fun,’ and I’ve always appreciated his work. However, I would never have had the courage to approach him for anything else.”

I believe he invited me to come in and discuss any thoughts or ideas. So I went inside, and we talked as if we were old friends. I began sharing about the challenges I was facing, where I am in my life, not having children or a family, and focusing on my career.

And not being married and questioning whether I should be, and I’m afraid of commitment and forever, and he brought out something in me that we thought, ‘Okay, this could be a really enjoyable concept for a film.’

But he managed to get it from me, I didn’t enter with anything.

The attractive individual, who has been in a relationship with executive TV producer Chris Convy, on and off since 2013, mentioned that the film will be ‘humorous,’ and continued, ‘As with all of his movies, there will be warmth in it, and genuine feelings, I hope, and it will come from an authentic source.’
