The journey was focused onScience, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)and individuals were encouraged to contribute toys aligned with the theme and assist children in learning.
This aimed to demonstrate how playthings can assist young children in developing problem-solving skills and fostering a sense of wonder.
Each plaything was selected to promoteproblem-solving, discovery, and innovation, reflecting GE Vernova’sconcentrate on uplifting the upcoming generationengineers, scientists, and inventors.
The recording was revealed publicly onNBC’s TODAYas part of a promoted segment on thescience behind play.
As part of its dedication togiving, and STEM education, the GE Vernova Foundationwill align with all toy contributions collected via theInnovators Toy Drive and donated to Save the Children.
In addition, donations from Hasbro and Mattel, indicating a total of more than70K toyswill be visiting children across the globe.
The achievement was also honored in aInnovators Toy Land event in Manhattan, which was accessible to everyone.
