Maybe it’s not that surprising that Noem and Lewandowski were seen together at a meeting. After all, insiders told New York Magazine’sIntelligencerregarding their alleged relationship have called it the “best-kept secret in D.C.” A different source also shared with the publication that as early as 2019, Noem had been seated on Lewandowski’s lap at a post-conference gathering. “I recall it being quite romantic. … It was very obvious they were a couple,” they recalled. It appears the same situation occurred two years later. Speaking to theNew York Post, sources stated that the couple had shown similar affectionate behavior at the Conservative Political Action Conference in 2021. “I remember it was extremely obvious and public… It’s not like we found them in some remote dive bar. It’s a lobby bar where everyone is staying, so there are countless political figures, journalists, and officials around,” they remembered.
All that being said, maybe sittingnext tomutual respect, rather than competing with each other, is a minor kindness we should acknowledge more. If not for the sake of their respective spouses, then at least for the ease of all present (and our sight, obviously).

Corey appeared quite uneasy while sitting with Kristi.
It is worth mentioning that regardless of their statedreluctance to dismiss the scandal rumors in the past, Corey Lewandowskidid not seem to be very at ease sitting next to his alleged partner during their meeting in Guatemala. In fact, he looked genuinely frightened, sitting rigidly upright, with a facial expression that indicated he might have been taking deep breaths or clenching his jaw. Lewandowski’s eyes also remained fixed forward as if he had seen a ghost… and given that everyone else seemed more relaxed, we can’t help but question if he was worried about how things appeared.
It’s true, considering his and Kristi Noem’s alleged history, it would be unexpected if he were very concerned about a single photo of them sitting together. Additionally, although there have beenwhispers that the incident might ruin Lewandowski’s career, the insiders who have spoken toCNNcomments about his behavior. That’s not really surprising. For those who missed it, this is a person who has been terminated before for certain remarks.verynegative conduct, including reported sexual misconduct.
By the end of the day, whether Lewandowski felt uneasy sitting beside Noem or his unusually watchful posture is simply his usual demeanor (which is unsettling), we suspect we’ll never discover the entire truth behind this alleged relationship — or whether either of them possesses any sense of propriety.
