She specifically mentioned her husband, Matthew Broderick, and their three children: son James Wilkie, 23, and twin daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge, 16.
“I want to thank my beloved family,” Parker said. “My brilliant husband Matthew Broderick, who has been my husband for just shy of 30 years. He has given me a family discount, an all-access pass to his masterclass in acting, comedy, and dedication.”
She also spoke passionately about her children, expressing how proud she is of the people they are becoming.
“And to the family we have made. Our divine James Wilkie, Loretta and Tabitha, oh God. I love you so deeply and admire so much the that you are becoming. That every day at home and at work, I want to make you proud.”
A Special Birthday Celebration
Earlier this year, Parker celebrated her son James Wilkie’s 23rd birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post. In the video, she shared a throwback photo of herself and James while playing James Taylor’s “Sweet Baby James” in the background. The clip ended with Parker saying, “Happy Birthday Sweet Baby James.”
In the caption, she wrote a touching message to her son:

Father-Son Collaboration on Elsbeth
James Wilkie and Matthew Broderick had a memorable experience working together on the CBS series Elsbeth. During a recent appearance on E! News Sitdown, Broderick reflected on the experience, mentioning how his son overcame his nerves.
“It was great. We had two days together,” Broderick said. “It was really fun to hang around the craft service table and eat snacks. He was nervous but he got over that. We had a great couple of days.”
Advice for Young Adults
In May, Parker appeared on The E! News Sitdown with Bruce Bozzi and shared her thoughts on how she encourages her children to approach their future careers.
“I really want my children to be educated in the ways that are fulfilling to them,” she explained. “I don’t think that there is one way to be an educated person or to be equipped to be an adult and try to fashion a life for yourself after what would be considered ‘finishing college’—let’s say 22 years old.”
She continued, emphasizing the importance of personal growth and independence.
“You want for them to be pursuing things that are exciting and challenging and hard and gratifying and to be able to ultimately take care of themselves, support themselves — emotionally, financially, and that they can be in the world and be a reliable person to themselves and to others. And so we talk about work like that.”
