WASHINGTON, D.C.— In 2025, U.S. Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler gave her full federal salary to charitable groups, keeping a promise she made when she returned to government service and continuing a habit she had while serving as a U.S. senator from Georgia.

The SBA stated that Loeffler allocated her quarterly salary to a combination of disaster relief organizations, military-related charities, and youth groups, including non-profits that assisted with devastating floods in the Texas Hill Country and a severe typhoon that impacted western Alaska. Additional contributions helped support service members and programs designed to encourage young Americans.

An SBA representative, Maggie Clemmons, stated that Loeffler transitioned from a thriving career in the private sector to re-enter public service and support the administration’s America First initiative, adding that the agency achieved a record year during her tenure. Clemmons mentioned that the salary contributions highlight Loeffler’s overall dedication to public service and to enhancing communities, especially in local areas.

The SBA outlined the contributions made each quarter. During the first quarter, Loeffler donated to Kids2Leaders, an organization dedicated to youth mentorship and leadership training. Donations in the second quarter were directed towards disaster response and relief initiatives, such as the Kerry County Flood Relief Fund, Samaritan’s Purse, Texans on Mission, and TEXSAR, which offers emergency search-and-rescue services.

In the third quarter, Loeffler contributed to the Turning Point USA Foundation, an organization focused on civic involvement and reaching out to young people. Contributions in the fourth quarter were directed towards disaster relief and supporting military families, including Team Rubicon’s operation in Alaska Anchorage, the American Red Cross in Alaska, and the West Virginia National Guard Foundation.

The SBA noted that the donations reflect Loeffler’s previous choice to donate her government salary while serving in the U.S. Senate, an action that gained nationwide attention at that time. Officials mentioned that she plans to keep this practice going as she continues in her position.

The statement arrives as the SBA establishes itself as a key figure in federal economic policy, with Loeffler viewing her position as one of service within and outside of government, channeling personal earnings towards initiatives addressing emergencies and aiding future generations.
