The Golden Globes 2026 are here, and the entertainment world is buzzing with excitement. This year’s ceremony promises to be one of the most thrilling in recent memory, as it celebrates a wide array of outstanding projects across film, television, and podcasts. Streaming on Paramount+ and CBS, the awards recognize the best in storytelling, acting, and creativity.

A Look at the Nominated Projects

This year, several projects have made a strong impression, earning multiple nominations. One Battle After Another leads the pack with nine nominations across the comedy and musical film categories. It’s closely followed by Sentimental Value, which has eight nominations. For those who haven’t seen it yet, be prepared for an emotional ride.

Other notable nominees include the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters, which received three nominations. Ryan Coogler’s action-horror film Sinners earned six nods, while Seth Rogen’s comedy series The Studio, which offers a satirical look at the entertainment industry, landed four nominations.

It’s worth noting that Heated Rivalry did not qualify for this year’s Golden Globes. However, fans were still able to catch Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams on the red carpet.

A New Category: Podcasts

For the first time ever, the Golden Globes are introducing a podcast category. Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert, Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy, and Amy Poehler’s Good Hang are all in the running. This addition highlights the growing influence of podcasts in the entertainment landscape.
