SHELL MALAYSIA invites all students enthusiastic about building a career in the energy sector to apply for the Shell Scholarship Programme.
The yearly application period for students seeking further educational chances has begun.
This initiative provides selected candidates the opportunity for undergraduate education at top international institutions, alongside mentorship and practical work experiences.
Upon completing their studies, graduates can embark on fulfilling careers across multiple sectors such as engineering, geoscience, and business areas, all within the company’s operational scope.
The Senior Vice President of Integrated Gas and Upstream Malaysia for Shell, along with the country chairman at Shell Malaysia, Siti Sulaiman, emphasized that the Shell Scholarship Program aims to draw the attention of the country’s most talented individuals, providing them with a significant opportunity for education.
As per her statement, Shell is dedicated to assisting these individuals in growing into influential and highly sought-after leaders and industry experts of the future.
We require an increased number of well-qualified experts to bolster the energy sector and help realize Malaysia’s ambition of transforming into a high-income and sustainable economy,” stated Siti, embodying the program’s triumph as she herself was once a Shell Scholar.
The Shell Scholarship Programme funds direct education costs such as tuition fees, living expenses, book purchases, and additional stipends, based on the scholar’s academic achievements.
Financial support is available for students pursuing A-levels at chosen local boarding schools as well as for those attending leading universities in the U.S., UK, or Australia for their undergraduate studies. Candidates will receive notification regarding the outcome of their applications by late July 2025.
The application period for the 2025 class of Shell Scholars will end on May 14th, 2025, at 11:59 pm.
