A new medical facility in Bandar Sunway, Selangor, is set to reshape the education of upcoming healthcare providers.
Sunway University has inaugurated the Sir Jeffrey Cheah Sunway Medical School, dedicated to achieving academic brilliance, moral leadership, and pioneering studies.
The founder and chairman of Sunway Group, Tan Sri Sir Dr Jeffrey Cheah KBE AO, stated that a top-tier university and medical center are essential components of a prosperous integrated town.
He mentioned that the Sunway Medical Centre is the biggest private hospital in Malaysia and also serves as the nation’s premier facility for both teaching and research within the private sector.
Our most recent project, named Sunway Square, situated opposite the Sunway Medical Centre and Sunway University, will include a specially designed space for the upcoming medical school.
“The Sir Jeffrey Cheah Sunway Medical School will feature cutting-edge technology and premier amenities,” he stated during the inauguration of the medical school at Sunway University.
The inauguration of the event was carried out by the Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.
