Poetry Slam

Pottstown Historical Society Meeting
The Pottstown Historical Society will hold a general meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. at 568 High St. Historian Michael Snyder will discuss Camp Pottsgrove, a local encampment of the Continental Army under Gen. George Washington in 1777. The program will explore the events and hardships faced by local farmers and their families during this time.
Art Exhibition
Montgomery County Community College’s Alumni Art Exhibition runs through February 13 at the Fine Arts Gallery on the MCCC Blue Bell Campus. An opening reception is scheduled for Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibition features 50 works by the MCCC fine arts program’s alumni and faculty. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
