Tom Blyth and Daniela Norman Make Public Appearance at Film Festival

Tom Blyth, known for his role in the Hunger Games series, has been seen in a new light as he steps out publicly with his girlfriend, Daniela Norman. The couple made their first public appearance together at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2025, where Blyth’s film The Fence premiered. This marked a significant moment for both of them, as they showcased their relationship on the red carpet.

Blyth is currently starring in Netflix’s We Meet on Vacation, but it was at TIFF that he first appeared with Norman. Their presence at the event highlighted not only their personal connection but also their shared passion for the arts. Norman, who has had a successful career in both dancing and acting, has been recognized for her roles in projects like Cats and Tiny Pretty Things.

A Career Rooted in Dance

Norman began her journey in the performing arts as a dancer. Growing up in London, she started taking dance classes at the age of five and was invited to train professionally at the age of eleven. She trained under Anna Du Boisson and performed with the English National Ballet as an adult. Her early experiences in ballet played a crucial role in shaping her understanding of performance and creativity.

“I danced the role of Clara in The Nutcracker while I was training professionally with Anna Du Boisson, and there was definitely a moment onstage where I realized I wanted to do this everyday,” Norman said in an interview with Mixed Asian Media. “Not just ballet, but the feeling of performing. I knew I had to be in the creative industry, whether it was acting or dance… or perhaps I’d get to do it all!”

Transitioning to Acting

While her roots are in dance, Norman has also made a name for herself in the world of acting. She began her acting career on stage as an alternate in the West End production of An American in Paris. Her on-screen debut came in 2019 when she appeared in the musical adaptation of Cats, playing the role of Demeter alongside Taylor Swift and James Corden.

In 2020, she starred as June in the Netflix ballet drama Tiny Pretty Things, which was canceled after one season. Despite the show’s short run, Norman’s performance left a lasting impression. She described the experience as both exciting and challenging, as she portrayed a character very different from her own personality.

“Playing a character like June was so exciting for me because it was so close to home in terms of how hard she works for what she cares about, which is very similar to me, especially towards ballet,” she said. “It was also exciting because her personality is very different to mine. So I really got a chance to become a different person! I’m very outgoing, a bit of a clown, not super serious.”

Red Carpet Moments Together

Since their debut at TIFF, Blyth and Norman have continued to make appearances together at various events. They walked the red carpet at the U.K. premiere of Blyth’s film Wasteman and posed together at the Golden Globes Cocktail Party during the film festival in October 2025.

Their style and chemistry have made them a standout couple at high-profile events. One such occasion was their attendance at the 2025 Paris Fashion Week, where they enjoyed the Yves St. Laurent show. Norman shared photos of the event on Instagram, expressing her gratitude to the brand and highlighting their fashion-forward looks.

Embracing Multicultural Heritage

Norman is proud of her multicultural background, which includes her mother’s heritage from Singapore. She shared with Mixed Asian Media that growing up in an international school in London allowed her to embrace diversity and feel at home in any setting.

“I attended an international school in London from the age of 5 and was surrounded by students from all over the world, so I never felt out of place or that I didn’t fit in!” she said. “Singapore is a beautiful place of all different cultures and heritage.”

She also credits her mother’s upbringing for instilling a strong work ethic in her. Norman still visits Singapore regularly, often for its incredible food, including dishes like laksa and nasi lemak.
